Don
was born and raised in Ville Platte. He and Verline were married
01/29/ 1966 and have three Children Tina, Toby, and Rebecca. They have four Grand Children.
He and Verline made their home
in Opelousas from 1967-1986. Don was the
owner of a home building business in Opelousas from 1969-1984. After a
short time of semi-retirement, (two years), he joined Bayou Girl Scout Council where
he remains as Property Development Director.

| In March 1984 Don was
initiated into the Knights of Columbus and served his local council in
all positions including Grand Knight. In 1991 he was initiated into
the Fourth Degree and has served his Assembly in many offices
including Navigator. Don has served the Louisiana Jurisdiction as
District Deputy for four years, Area Coordinator for two years, is
presently serving on the Lafayette Degree Team, the Camp Abbey Program
Committee, and he has served the Louisiana Jurisdiction as
State Advocate, State Treasure, and State Secretary. Don is serving as the Louisiana Knights of
Columbus State Deputy, 2006 - 2008 Don is currently a member of council
2213, Father Marcel Borella. |
