"Our administration obviously centered on
change and our 'global mission.' With a plan of action based on strength
analysis, we knew what the state council could do and should do, turning
the unexpected into an advantage and uncertainty into opportunity. One of
my proudest achievements was in building better relationships with our
bishops, parish priests, chaplains and other religious. During our
administration the seeds also were planted for two outstanding projects
the LSU - Alexandria Catholic Student Center and the multi-purpose Maryhill
Renewal Center; both of which would later become realities. "
