Supreme's recommended Family Programs include: Family of the Month; Keep Christ in Christmas; Food for Families; Family Fully Alive; Family Week; Family Prayer Night; and Good Friday Family Promotion.

Councils are permitted to report programs that are not part of the recommended group as long as the program is a significant Family program.

Directors may deduct points for each program that is not a major or significant program consistent with the Columbian Award requirements.

Louisiana's Family of the Year Nomination Form. The council must submit the Family of the Year nomination form to the State Family Director by April 5. The form will be available at LouisianaKC.org.
