Is your Council off to a fast start in Membership?

Remember:

• Early is Easy. Get off to a fast start, invite men to join our order now. Don't wait until you have a formal membership drive.

• Develop a Culture of Invitation. Invite all men of your Parish to join. Keep asking! Give them different reasons every time you talk to them. One of these is what they are looking for.

• Use all Opportunities. Make recruiting a part of every program your Council participates in.

• Develop Partnerships. This can be with your Insurance Agent, Men's Club, or other church organizations in your Parish.

Recruiting should be an on-going process. Invite men to join at every opportunity. Keep pamphlets and literature in the back of Church and provide this information to eligible men after all Masses.

FIRST QUARTER INCENTIVE

Your Council can win a personalized Feather Flag during the First Quarter Incentive. This incentive runs from July 1 through September 30. To be eligible, your Council:

• Must bring in 50% of Quota (NEW ONLINE MEMBERS ONLY)

• Must be Safe Enviroment Compliant

• Must have at least two (2) F.B.E.'s reported (Form #11077)

• Must have forms #185(Report of Officers) & #365(Program Personnel Report) tunred in

Do you have a "Culture of Invitation" in your Council? Are you inviting all eligible men to join the Knights of Columbus? Membership growth is not primarily about forms, campaigns, or numbers. It is about one Knight personally inviting another man to join us. Every member should ask himself: Who is one man I can invite this month? The greatest recruitment tool we possess is a sincere personal invitation. Men join because someone they respect asked them to be part of something meaningful.

If your Council has not yet held a Parish Outreach Membership Drive, now is the time to schedule one. They are easy to do and lets the Council control the entire process.

• Council calls Candidate to confirm email

• Council onboards new member through admissions committee

• Council votes for member at next meeting
