2026-2027 Louisiana State Deputy Award

Councils that satisfy the criteria set by the State Council will be eligible for the Louisiana State Deputy Award. The State Deputy Award showcases and honors those Councils and members who work to achieve the required goals.

1. Criteria and Deadlines.

Reporting Period: July 1, 2026 to June 4, 2027.

2. Methos to determin 2026-2027 State Deputy Award recipients

A council that meets the below requirements qualifies for the Louisiana State Deputy Award. Every council in Louisiana can earn the Louisiana State Deputy Award.

3. Objective.

The objectives of the award are to:

(1) Focus on the activities that are important to the Louisiana State Council and Louisiana Knights

(2) Focus on the requirements needed to earn Star Council.

STATE DEPUTY AWARD REQUIREMENTS

STAR COUNCIL	Council Must achieve Star Council by June 4, 2027. Star Council Criteria will be tracked on Star Council Award Tracker Report. Form 185 Form 365 Form 1728 Form SP-7 Membership 100% Quota Safe Enviroment Compliant	JUNE 4, 2027
KCLS	At least ONE (1) Council member must attend KCLS. (The requested members are the Grand Knight, Membership Director, Program Director and Financial Secretary)	JUNE 27, 2026
CPID	A minimum donation of $100 must be made to St. Mary’s Residential Training School and reported using the CPID Form found on here	JUNE 4, 2027
Special Olympics	Special Olympics Report (Form # 10784) must be submitted to Supreme by January 31, 2027, and must reflect a donation or volunteer hours of any size or amount. Donation or volunteer hours are for Calendar year 2026	JANUARY 31, 2027
Bishop Greco Fund	The Council must donate a minimum of $100 to the Bishop Greco Fund	JUNE 4, 2027
Seminary Mission Fund (SMF)	The Council must sell at least $500 worth of tickets (100 Tickets) for the Seminary Mission Fund. Purchase tickets online here.	MAY 1, 2027
Youth Expansion Program (YEP)	Donate 100% of the Council’s (YEP) Youth Expansion Program Quota	JUNE 4, 2027
State Convention	At least one (1) voting delegate from your Council must attend the State Convention	MAY 2, 2027
Fraternal Activity	At least one (1) member of the Council must participate in one of the following State Sponsored Events State Horseshoe Tournament – September 12, 2026 State Golf Tournament – September 25-27, 2026 State Bowling Tournament – January 16-17,2027 State Cornhole Tournament – February 27, 2027 State Retreat – February 19-21,2027	JUNE 4, 2027
